Fly Fishing Videos for Your Own Good
By: Erwan Go
You have to go to a
fishing store and look around where fly fishermen get their staff if you want to have lots of information,
people who can teach you and get started in any
activities of fly fishing. But if you can't find someone who can teach you then instructional videos in VHS or DVDs is needed.
These
fly fishing videos started to be popular in the mid of 80s and fairly cheap and you can watch and see some of your favorite players giving one on one lesson. Many fly fishermen have improved their skill and technique with these
instructional videos but there are also some boring parts on the
fly fishing videos which you already know.
This new modality of teaching and learning is very helpful not only for beginner but also for professional fly fishermen.
There is a wide range of DVDs with
very informative and dynamic like Trout Bum Diaries. This expedition to the Patagonia is something that you can learn just by watching even though it might be not a formal instructional video.
There are also other video with more traditional like Atlantic Salmon - A Life on the Age.
For your check and tracking record, you could try to have a journal to record your own
improvement in fly fishing or you can start taping your own
fly fishing videos activities on any trips for your own record or for others or even commercial with many series.
